We are one of only two facilities in South Dakota to offer Rock Steady Boxing to help our clients “combat” the effects of Parkinson’s Disease. This is a Wellness program which helps increase strength, functional movement, limit hesitation, and increase confidence. Enjoy “Fight Back Against Parkinson’s” while punching our speed/heavy bags, working on agility drills, timing, and even getting in our boxing ring with instructors and clients.
Some of our therapists have over 35 years of experience working with patients before and following Total Joint Replacement surgery. We offer a Free session to help explain the process following surgery, take measurements, discuss home equipment needs, and start an exercise program to help clients prepare for their procedure. Whether it is a new Knee, Shoulder, or Hip, we have an excellent track record of helping those who undergo Total Joint Replacement surgery return to their lifestyle before surgery, and even to a level better than they had. Our job is to increase motion, strength, balance, and function in a friendly and aggressive manner to maximize your potential. You don’t have to fear a surgery with our staff helping and encouraging you along the way through this process.
Peloton Physical Therapy continues to support the Hospital Albert Schweitzer in Deschappelles, Haiti through their department of rehabilitation. Matt Dvorak has visited on several occasions to assist prior to, and following the earthquake of 2010. Matt has developed a relationship with the Hospital Albert Schweitzer Physical Therapy department, and was able to help assist it's development since 2009. Our continued support of HAS has enabled the hospital and surrounding areas provide needed outpatient physical therapy services to the people of the Artibonite Valley area.
